Well, that kind of sounds what the "sneak peak" will be: an early event where you can keep items you find.
I suspect it's more than that, though. Gaile keeps hinting at "an event that will be like nothing before."
When they officially announce it, we'll get more details.

I can't tell if your comments in various threads are sarcastic or not.
I hope they are... it would be ironic for someone who hates Guild Wars as much as you seem to, to be posting in a Guild Wars forum.

Oh c'mon, with your record surely you can come up with something better than that. That just sounded like a little kid having a temper tantrum, put some effort into it.

Of course you have it you fool, you just haven't unlocked it yet... (of course its not there yet unless it came down in a recent update)
Just as with the other chapters its auto streamed and every copy on every PC its installed on has the information there so it can just be unlocked with the key in the box
Especially as this is an expansion, there is no reason to have the client on a disk anymore
and yes, i still post on TGH, and no I don't stalk you, you just have a habit of posting drivel in threads I'm reading

I pre-ordered it and was told it'd cost $45-$55~ And i'm fine with that, as it has been said before if you think it's too much wait for it to drop in price. This expansion looks like it's gonna be amazing, with more conent that normal. And i'm thinking that some pretty interesting things could be happening in it if we have to stick around for two years, but we'll see what happens.

As a comparison, in the UK I have ordered it from Gameplay. It costs £17.99 and they will ship the preorder package and the main package well within time to start playing. I preordered Factions and Nightfall from them and they arrived 3 days before the start day.
As to the content, due to the nature of it (dungeons and title focussed) I think it will keep people busy for quite a while. The majority of even the most jaded people around here agree that Sorrows Furnace was the best addition to GW, so it may even keep them quiet for at least a day.

$40 for a mere expansion? That's far too much. At the very most it should be $30, not a bit more.

I tend to think it'll suck too, so I'm gonna wait to hear the overall comments before deciding whether to buy or not. I expect by the time I do decide, the expansion will be in the 50% off bin anyway.
